About this Twitter video downloader
Resolutions and file sizes on X.
When someone uploads a video to X, it is stored in several resolutions, from a small mobile version up to HD. The X app picks one for you while you scroll; this Twitter video downloader lists them all so you decide.
It is free, with no limit on how many Twitter videos you download.
Each Twitter video is saved as an MP4, so it plays on any device.
Videos can be saved in HD, Full HD, 2K or 4K whenever the upload has them.
Downloads start instantly once you pick a resolution.
Pick the highest resolution for the sharpest picture on a laptop or TV, or a smaller one to save space and data on your phone. Each version is an MP4 file, which plays in any player and can be imported into CapCut or Premiere.
Links from x.com and twitter.com both work, including links that point straight at the video. Videos from protected accounts can't be downloaded.
For a looping GIF, use the Twitter GIF Downloader. For the audio only, use the Twitter to MP3 converter.
