About the Twitter thumbnail downloader
What the preview image is and how people use it.
Before a video on X starts playing, you see a still picture: its thumbnail. It is usually a frame from the video that X or the uploader picked, and this page turns it into an image you can keep.
Each thumbnail shows as a preview on the page before you download it.
It is 100% free, with no limit on how many thumbnails you save.
Every thumbnail is saved as a high quality image.
The preview image appears almost instantly.
Paste the post link and the thumbnail is offered in the sizes X keeps, so you can choose a large one for a slide or a small one for a quick preview.
It is handy for a blog post or article that links to the video, for a presentation, or for keeping a record of a post. The image belongs to whoever posted the video, so credit them.
Works with public posts only. The clip itself is saved with the Twitter Video Downloader.
