About this Snapchat video downloader
Spotlight, Snaps and Stories explained.
Snapchat is built around things that disappear, and the app has no button for saving someone else's video to your camera roll. This Snapchat video downloader saves public Snapchat videos as MP4 files you can keep.
Videos come without a watermark, so there is no Snapchat logo or username on the clip.
Save a video you like before it is taken down. It is safe and secure: no malware, and nothing you download is stored or shared.
There is nothing to install: the downloader runs right in your browser.
Every video is saved in the highest quality Snapchat has for it, in HD.
It works with Spotlight, the public video feed inside Snapchat, where anyone can post short clips. Paste a snapchat.com/spotlight link and the video downloads as just the clip, without the Snapchat buttons and captions shown on top of it in the app.
Private Snaps, chats and Stories shared only with friends are not public, so they can't be downloaded here. Saving them without permission would also go against the people who sent them.
The file plays on any device and opens in video editors such as CapCut and iMovie.
